Dark Ride Project Diary Part Three…

In the year 2006:

Ha ha…. 2006 never came about in the Sinister Shadows world… Neither did 2007, 2008, 2009…. And let’s see how 2010 ends up!

A good fiend pointed out that “Stat tuned” web pages do nothing but piss people off! So, here’s an update of sorts… and why I’ve been so quiet….

· In 2007 I went through a terrible child custody battle with an extortionist that ended in me being taken for as much child support as Charlie Sheen does for one child.

· In 2007 the Haunted House I rebuilt for a local amusement park was sold – WITH ALL MY STUFF IN IT!

· 2008 – The “economy” hit my other line of work – Domestic Car Dealership work… market crashes… Federal bail-outs…. Girlfriend left me…

· 2009 I stayed curled up in the fetal position in my bed. (That’s a joke… hopefully the reader “gets it” with me!)

It was not a good few years for me – and the “artistic” side of me just couldn’t keep going. I am known as an “all or nothing” kind of guy. If I can’t give myself 100% to something (or someone) then I don’t do it at all.

I have been working on the project. There are many new props and things I wish I would have shared along the way! For example – I now have enough track to make a dark-ride a half mile long! It would be TWICE the length of the longest dark ride in the world!!!

Anyhow – I am on Face-book (search Chris Giffen – or follow the link on my main page…) because updating THIS page is very in efficient.

This entire page is in the process of being re-designed by some real pros – so… as I said before… “Stay Tuned!”
