Goliath

Words can’t describe the reaction we get when testing this out on people that have never seen it before. This prop is a giant that will be sitting down, resting. When active, he is a fully functional animatronic robot capable of telling stories and interacting with the audience. (Think -“Chuck E Cheese robot”, only HUGE). Ok, so what’s the big deal? Well our monster can get mad, and when he does, he waves his arms around and stands up ready to pounce on you! Powered by a commercial compressor and professional sound equipment – the feeling that you are about to be eaten by a monster is overwhelming.

Although we are not going to reveal the finished project until Halloween 2004 – here are a few sneak peeks!

· Test on “skull” – and animatronic computer control program

· Test of head movement when mounted on frame

· Full movement test, “burn in” test to verify ability to operate long periods of time, and to check weld integrity

· Last public release of a test video – there is much more cosmetic work to do, but you can get the picture of what the final product will do!
