This is the first pull from the “big lady” mold. This will be the character that replacrs Mitzi in the Rockafire show I have. I sculpted and molded this mask with the eyes in it rather than holes to try something diffrrent. This is also a test post using my Android phone….

Got my official “company package” in the mail today. It came with and official seal and even stock!
I’m not so sure how stock works … But if anyone wants to buy some of these cool sheets of paper stamped with a cool stamp… I’ll be happy to sell you as many as you like!
Just send me money and I’ll handle the rest *evil grin*
I’m a little pissed right now because I just spent $1500 to make $1000 (I lost $500 for those of you bad with math… Perhaps it might be wise to wait before you line up to buy my stock!) so I’m gonna indulge in some non-animatronic spirits (Jack Daniels) and exorcize some demons (not even gonna decode that for you! Lol).
So much to do …. I don’t even know where to start. I’m excited to have next week off to just be creative.

As everyone can tell… I have been in a funk. It’s tough to post things in a blog when your spirit just isn’t into it. I’ve tried to be positive over the fact that I spend (wasted) months working on a Halloween walk-through for my back yard and due to reason way beyond my control – no one will ever see it.
It’s not so much that I built something no one will see – hell, I do that almost every week! But it’s the fact I lost so much time… when I should have been working on my “real” haunted house ride. So I’ve been meditating on if I want to try it again next year, or just take the hint from God and forget about it.
So, while in my funk, my brother wrote to me and asked if I had any video left of Goliath…. the first animatronic robot I ever built. I had been meaning to upload all my old stuff onto my new (ROCKIN) web page – but just didn’t get around to it. But I thought – maybe this is another message!
So, I booted up the old PC and found my old “in progress” videos from way back in 2004. They reminded me what it felt like to build something that I wanted to no matter how many peope told me it was silly.
So, here they are – my first home made videos (well, the first ones I can show!) of my first robot… please forgive the cheesey production audio and effects – I never claimed to be a producer….

Anyhow, this post reminded me how much a struggle with doing things for me, and doing things to make others happy… and how much focusing on what the “public wants” always seems to end in disappointment for me.
I don’t know where that epifany will take me – but I would settle for anywhere out of this rut!
