I don’t know where August went. I am sitting here completely bewildered as to how (and if) I can get anyithng done for the annual Halloween display, or if I should just skip it an work on the Haunted House ride… (as if I even have time for that!)

So – here’s where I am at….

We had the documentary planned to be filmed in August – and in the middle of July, I lost several key eployees at my “real” job… so I had to shelve almost everything else to keep moving on the film we are making about the project.

We had the first ever Sinister Shadows “Employee” party on August 18th, during which we did 80% of the primary filming. It was truly a great turn out! I got to see people I have not seen in years and had my inspiration recharged beyond belief!

While the documentary and my motivation are way ahead, the project has fallen way behind. About the only thing I can cross of my to-do list is I now have the two custom light dimming control boxes I have needed for key parts of the ride. These light controllers are a key part of the atmosphere of the ride. I wish I had the time to explain more about them… but alas, I don’t have the time I need to do the Blue Spark justice.

(CLICKABLE) One other to-do that is now off the list is I had some Sinister Shadows posters made. I guess this is where I find out how “cool” other people think the project is! I intend on sellnig them on Ebay to commerate the entire project, and the various rides we have saved from distruction of the the years. (CLICKABLE)

I truly hope to have the fireflies and one major character done for this October’s display – but I must also take things one day at a time!

(CLICKABLE) I’d like to take this one moment to thank all the people that have helped me on this project. In my arrogance, I believed that I could easily build a multi-million dollar attraction without the help of anyone. Well, I could not have been more wrong. I have always known that these people are key parts to my success - but yet they still go unrecognized for the most part. I can only hope that someday I can somehow repay them!

Well, I am off to plan – something.

Here’s a “blurb” update… In  between employee madness and preparing for the documentary, I’ve continued to work on the Construction Worker character.

I’ve fixed his broken air cylinders from his fall last month, and am now working on the construction helmet for him… which is about twice as big as a normal one.
