Chris Giffen, President/Owner
Chris has lived in York, PA, most of his life. He attended York Suburban High School and took computer classes.
Later, enrolled at York County Vo-Tech, he studied Marketing and Distribution. Mainly employed in the automotive
industry, he is currently the Service Manager at Apple Ford in Red Lion, PA. Experiences there have taught him
how to manage large groups, provide matchless customer service and run a profitable business. The obsession
with haunted houses has roots in a family trip to Disney World when he was only 12. His brother Anthony liked
Disney so much, he eventually moved to Florida to work for them As the father of two, Chris understands the
importance of things that can entertain an entire family. A long-term goal is to build a family entertainment
facility appealing to all ages.
Beth Giffen, Business Development/Marketing
Beth graduated from Delone Catholic High School and York College. Her employment with 98-YCR in Hanover, PA,
taught her valuable communication and marketing skills and good advertising basics.
She left her job in radio to be a stay-at-home mom to her three kids -- Emily, Alexander and ... her husband.
Along with taking care of the "business" end of Sinister Shadows, she also uses her artistic
talent to help guide the look of the props. Hobbies include music, movies, arts & crafts and anything Disney.
